re: date formatting in Excel
I would like the default format to be mm/dd/yyyy for all my new spreadsheets. I can go into more detail as to “why?” and the problem with Excel’s “default” date format as you like.
Thank you.

Hi Tim,
I have a question on the general rule of using “borders”. When do you typically use the bottom double border, thick bottom border, top and bottom border, top and double bottom border, etc… I have seem reports and still clueless as of when to use what. Please advise.
thanks,
Christie

I can make all of my other programs open on whichever monitor I want. Caseware and Caseview seem to only open on the “main” monitor. When working in a CW file and double clicking on a pdf or excel document it is great to have them open on a different screen…clicking a CV document causes it to open on top of the CW. Any ideas as to how to get CV and or CW to open ona the monitor of my choice?

Hello,
A client has a shore term requirement for a CaseWare consultant.
Does your company provide professionals for engagement or can you
refer a company / individual? We would highly appreciate your response.

Hello,
When I right-click in a Word document I have Caseware Connector appear in the context menu. When I right-click in an Excel document this option does not appear in the context menu. It used to appear before and I don’t know what happened to make it disappear. When using Excel I have added a separate tab in the ribbon for Caseware connector and am able to link from there but it would be much more convenient to have it appear in the right-click context menu. Do you know how I can make this option work in Excel like it does in Word. Perhaps an edit in the registry if necessary?? I have Microsoft Office 2007.
Also I have a coworker who has Caseware Connector as an Excel add-in as well but she has to enable it each time she opens Excel. I’ve noticed that for my add-in the Load Behaviour states “Load at Startup” so I always have Connector working (even if I don’t have it in the context menu) but for my coworker it does not say “Load at startup” and she must go to the add-ins menu each time to enable it.
If you can help me with any of these two issues I would greatly appreciate it. Feel free to email me if you require more info.
Thank you kindly,
Laura

I am trying to conditional format a column of numbers. If competed before June 21 the chart shows green otherwise it is red for late. How do I do this?
